Why do women prefer to not work even when qualified?

My wife and I married soon after we graduated college. Its been over a year now, and she still won't work. I've had to settle for whatever work I can get, so I can at least be able to support us while I hope to find a more lucrative job. Things aren't too bad at the moment, we're (or I should say) are making ends meet ok, but it can only last for so long. She's already turned down several jobs that she interviewed for and was offered a position, but she didn't want either of them because they "weren't good enough for someone like her". It seems that all she does is complain about how I'M not doing anything, when I am the one going to freakin work everyday while she lounges around the house or go out with her girlfriends. She buys what she wants with money we literally don't have. I don't even want to start on how she paints me out to be such a low life to others. This whole thing has literally just become a burden on me.
