Which major is a safer route for making more money?

Okay to start off, i dont care about doing a job i love. Im abitious and im destined for greatness. Now that we have that out of the way, which major, engineering or business administration, would be more lucrative. I understand that honors, job climate, and the economy are a factor. But hands down, would being a petroleum engineer or taking a gamble with Business administration bring in the dough? Oh and these colleges are at the University of Texas.
